Whilst it is too early to report on sale values for the Jan-Mar quarter, we can say that 20 transactions occured. This builds on 14 for the previous quarter and 9 over the same quarter last year. This is good news because when volume is up you can bet values will follow.
With the benefit of hindsight we can see that there was a post GFC recovery in the local property market that ran through to the Jan-Mar quarter of 2011 before declining again. It appears that decline may now be over.
