June 2013 Quarter Sales Figures

By Warwick Davis

We are pleased to report the strengthening of the local market has continued through the June 2013 quarter. According to RPData figures, 23 sales occurred with a total value of $15.0m. The previous quarter also saw 23 sales worth $21.4m (a $4.25m acreage sale bumped up the total in that quarter).

This means we have seen 46 sales worth $36.4m for the current calendar year. To put that in perspective at the half way point of the year we have almost matched the total number of sales that took place in both 2011 and 2012 (52 both years). The total value of those sales has already exceeded 2012 ($35.6m) and is fast approaching the $45.3m of 2011.

Buyers, if you have been waiting for a strong signal that the market is on the way up before you invest it’s probably safe to say you now have it.

Sellers, listing now might be a great opportunity to avoid competing with the traditional flood of properties listed every Spring.

Please call Kerrie or Warwick on 4360 2222 if you would like to discuss further.
